Join me for a fun yet informative journey into reading your own tarot cards and spreads.
This course is for those who have completed my Learning the Tarot Course and understand the meanings of the cards. Those who already know and understand the meanings of the 78 Tarot cards and the basics of doing readings are also welcome to join this course. We will go into how to set up and read various types of spreads, how to create your own spreads and how to work with specific questions from your clients.
In this course, we also be looking at 12 month forecasts using the astrological placements of the 12 houses. In each spread we will be exploring the flow and how to connect the cards to tell the stories that are revealed. We will look into astrology with tarot and how it can be of influence with dates and energy plus the 12 house system to support different ways of reading the card spreads.
I will talk about the morals, your responsibility as a reader and the ethics of reading tarot cards
We will look at how to use your cards for clients, or for yourselves, and how to open up psychically to do a reading professionally and safely.
We will talk about how different decks can be used to expand the meanings of cards in the spread and to bring clarification to answers to questions.
We will meet for 2 hours each week with each session involving practical and theory work. There is home work of practice readings each week to support your learning.

Kate May has a long history of doing intuitive related readings professionally in the U.K. and more recently in the U.S. She first picked up the tarot beginning at age 13 leading to her first job, working with Astrology at age 17. She has attended world renowned Spiritualist Medium Mavis Pittilla and Jean Else mediumship mentorship course. Her studies over the years have taken her on journeys through Astrology, Numerology, Tarot, Spiritualism, Pagan, and Angels.
Kate now teaches Tarot, Astrology, Psychic Development, and the Lotus Chakra – Heal Yourself Within course, and has organized several large Mind Body Spirit Fayres across the United Kingdom. Prior to the Covid 19 pandemic, Kate was traveling to different Spiritual Centres and Churches sharing tarot, astrology demonstrations and talks across the UK and in California as well as on Psychic Cruises.
Kate is the proud owner of The Mystic River Lounge in Cosham, Portsmouth. It’s a charming coffee shop, where she does tarot, psychic, and mediumship readings in a private room. During non pandemic times, Kate runs live in-person psychic development classes, Lotus Chakra Course, Meditation, & Tarot Courses. The shop also hosts regular mediumship demonstrations, workshops, classes, courses plus coffee mornings. No stranger to media, Kate has worked as a author for several online magazines doing Tarot scopes, articles on spiritualism, and interviews with well known global mediums. She has been interviewed many times for different television and film documentaries, radio shows and well known magazines such as Spirit and Destiny. This year she had her own deck of Oracle cards published, Mystic Messages, plus two decks of positive motivational cards. Kate is currently working on tarot deck and a book combining the Tarot and Astrology, which are expected to be available in 2021!

Review of the course: I had always wanted to learn tarot cards properly and lockdown was a great opportunity. The class is easy to follow and Kate is extremely knowledgeable as well as very approachable. We learned each card individually and the Celtic Cross as well as some smaller spreads and practiced on each other. There was one week when we had the opportunity to read for people from outside the group. The classes were all via Zoom but that didn't detract from the learning because we all felt included and had the opportunity to go back and watch each lesson afterwards or if we missed a week.
